Kids and zoos

I'm more convinced than ever that it doesn't matter to kids whether you take them to Disneyland, the zoo, or to the community park that has a lake with ducks. They'll be just as happy whether you spend the $50 it takes to stand in long lines to see Mickey, or if you walk down the road to the community park with ducks. It'll just make their day getting out of the house, running around with other kids, and hopefully getting soaked any body of water nearby.
